By downloading or using Grovy, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. These terms apply to all users of Grovy, including free and Pro subscribers.
Grovy is a personal food expiry tracking tool. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
Grovy offers auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple's In-App Purchase system:
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except where required by law.
Free trial periods, if offered, will be specified at the time of purchase. Unused portions of a free trial are forfeited upon purchase of a subscription.
All food data you enter into Grovy is stored locally on your device only. We do not collect, store, or have access to your personal food tracking data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
When you use the receipt scanner feature, receipt images are sent to Anthropic's API for processing and are immediately discarded. We do not retain these images.
Grovy, including its name, logo, mascot (Lemmy), design, and content, is owned by Benjamin Duke. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the app without written permission.
Grovy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that expiry date reminders will prevent food spoilage in all cases. Always use your own judgement when assessing food safety.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grovy and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any loss resulting from reliance on expiry date information in the app.
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll note any significant changes in the app update notes and update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Grovy after changes means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.
